People will literally burn you alive for having an opinion, even if it is non threatening, and expressed in the best and least provoking way you know how it doesn’t matter! People Immediately assume you are some hateful person. And if its an unpopular opinion and you feel like blogging your views you might as well be kissing your reputation goodbye because you are not allowed to have it and be considered a decent human being.

I will now be forever known as the racist Guinevere hating asshole simply because a handful of people took my opinion the wrong way. And I’m sitting here with tears streaming down my face because I know who I am as a human being, I know my morals in life and I know that one of them is to love and accept everyone regardless race or anything else but these people sending me hate don’t know that!

So I’ve never seen a medieval English noble woman of African decent? And I question that. and all of a sudden I’m racist? I will never be watching this show again, i will never have anything to do with this fandom again. I was only on episode 1 just getting to know the characters and now I’ve been completely turned off to it.

The reason you’ve never seen a medieval english noble woman of African descent is because medieval times happened quite a while ago. That’s why there are records of those times, so that people nowadays can learn about it. Like the links I gave you in my answer to your message and that you clearly didn’t read.

Its not that hard to google black nobles in Europe. Its not hard to google Roman history and see that they mixed with the lands the conquered i.e. Romans who were mixed with Africans/Eurasians so when they came to the British outpost, you guessed it! They mixed with the Britons there. Its not hard to google moors in Spain. And its not hard to see why only picking on an actress’ race when there are so many things ‘historically’ wrong is FUCKING RACIST.

So let those white tears stream down your face, I don’t feel sorry for you or anyone who thinks like you because its nothing compared to what our ancestors have to go through and nothing compared to what we STILL go through.

What did you expect. It’s a show with a magician, talking dragons, based on a legend and all you want is historical accuracy???? Does that sound even remotely sensible?

Girl, if you don’t tuck this history lesson under your belt and take a nap… You can’t possibly see how ignorant it is to ask if the presence of black or biracial people would have been historically accurate just because you only know that time period as being predominantly white, when the human race itself originated in Africa. In other words…
